THE GAZEBO GARDEN
BILLY’S CREEK, NSW
The Gazebo Garden was designed to suit the 150 year-old homestead that it surrounds, located in the hinterland of the mid-north coast NSW. The design style is traditional with curved lines and more of its ornamentation is in the diverse species which have been mass planted in free -flowing drifts. The focal point of this garden is the wrought iron gazebo over a circular paved area which creates an old-time feel to suit the house itself. The lake features aquatic and marginal plantings, and the waterfall was constructed with blue stone, mostly local basalt and runs on a 12-volt powered pump system with garden and pond lighting.
